- The jaw discrepancy is severe. Orthodontic tooth movement alone may compromise supporting structures or prove to be unstable.
- Both approaches – surgical bone repositioning is required with orthodontic movement.
Here we can see that if the incisor is moved to correct the bite the tooth is no longer in bone in this non growing patient
